She is such a big helper. She did most of the preparations. I always love to bake with my little K. We really bond as Mommy and daughter. She did all the steps to prepare the cupcake. I just turn on the oven and put the cupcakes when the oven is heated.

I give her a big bowl for all the ingredients. She opens the cake mix. She adds one cup of water. She adds 1/2 cup of oil. She uses three brown organic eggs from our red chickens. She mixes all the ingredients. I also help her with the mixing as well. She put all the cupcake cups. I pour the mixture. When the oven is heated at 350 degrees and cook the cupcakes for 23 minutes. We bake the first 12 cupcakes. I take our cupcakes and let it stand for a minute or two. She then put the frosting and add some sprinkles as well. She also taste the frosting every now.

  6. Glad she was able to celebrate her birthday with her classmates! Great idea for her to bake her own cupcakes. How did the party go?

When I have the time I often bake brownies and cupcakes and use boxed cake ingredients. It’s much quicker and convenient. I also am afraid to bake from scratch. Hehe.
