Little K’s actual birthday is in the summer. The school is over when she has her birthday. Mrs. L her 2nd grade teacher asks her if she wants to have a birthday party in school. She picks her own date as well. She picked the 18 to bring her birthday treats to her friends at school.
She wants me to bake confetti cupcakes for her friends at school. I bought the cake mix and frosting. I also bought the Hi-C drinks. She likes me to bake the confetti. She uses the vanilla for frosting.
She is such a big helper. She did most of the preparations. I always love to bake with my little K. We really bond as Mommy and daughter. She did all the steps to prepare the cupcake. I just turn on the oven and put the cupcakes when the oven is heated.
I give her a big bowl for all the ingredients. She opens the cake mix. She adds one cup of water. She adds 1/2 cup of oil. She uses three brown organic eggs from our red chickens. She mixes all the ingredients. I also help her with the mixing as well. She put all the cupcake cups. I pour the mixture. When the oven is heated at 350 degrees and cook the cupcakes for 23 minutes. We bake the first 12 cupcakes. I take our cupcakes and let it stand for a minute or two. She then put the frosting and add some sprinkles as well. She also taste the frosting every now.
We bake the other dozen and repeat the last instructions before applying the frosting. My little K was so happy and we put the cupcakes in the refrigerator and ready to her birthday treats for her friends at school.
